I’m an airline pilot and videographer. It’s my goal to show you why I love to fly and why you will too!

I’m a first officer for Envoy Air on the Embraer 145, an editor at Boldmethod, and a graduate of the University of North Dakota. I run a YouTube channel with over 155,000 subscribers and 16 million views, which has become a go-to source for aspiring professional pilots learning about the career path.

My career started at 15 years old with my first flight lessons in Richmond, Virginia. Shortly after, I began documenting flight training through a series of videos on YouTube. Around the same time, I started writing for Boldmethod Pilot Training, where I’m now a co-owner and editor. I started graduated as an Aeronautical Science Major from the University of North Dakota and built my first professional flight experience by flying inter-island for Hawaiian carrier Mokulele Airlines.

As an editor for Boldmethod, a leading source for digital aviation and flight training content, I publish and manage daily articles, lists, videos, and training courses. Boldmethod produces stories that teach, entertain and inspire, as well as training courses that help pilots reach certification. With a growing base of 600,000 monthly readers, Boldmethod drive one of the largest aviation content networks online.

Today, my videos cover specific topics including simulator training, reserve schedules, and commuting, to make the transition into airline ground school much easier. Each video is targeted to answer questions that students and instructors are not traditionally exposed to during flight training. The resource I’ve created is the first example of an airline-approved comprehensive view on becoming an airline pilot.
