I’m a First Officer for United Airlines flying the Boeing 757/767. With over 40 million views and 290,000 subscribers, my YouTube channel is a go-to source for aspiring pilots learning about career opportunities.

Becoming a pilot can feel like a daunting challenge, especially for someone with no aviation background. That was me — Growing up in a family with no pilots. When I looked online for guidance, I didn’t find what I was looking for. My mission became to fill a gap of knowledge between flight school and airline careers.

That sparked my presence in social media today, playing my part to show the ins and outs of a career that’s not adequately publicized. Today, my videos cover specific topics such as simulator training, pilot schedules, and lifestyle expectations to make the transition into airline flying straightforward.

Each video is targeted to answer questions that students and instructors are not traditionally exposed to during flight school. The resource I’ve created is the first example of an airline-approved comprehensive view on becoming an airline pilot.
