Every year, EAA Chapter 1342 throws its annual fly-in and hog roast event in Manvel, North Dakota. EAA 1342 is the University of North Dakota’s most active aviation student group, made up of about 120 students. It’s also the one of the country’s youngest and most active EAA Chapters. We’re dedicated to promoting the grassroots flying that we all love. We got into aviation because we love to fly and share it with friends – That’s what our chapter is all about. I’ve met some of my best friends through the chapter and am fortunate to help as the director of social media. Every week I spend at UND reminds me more and more why UND Aerospace was the right choice for me. It takes a huge team to pull off an event like this, so thank you to every member of Chapter 1342 for making this year the best yet! We’ll have our annual Canada trip and Young Eagles Rally in just a few months! I can’t wait to see what our next events this year will hold… -Swayne Special thanks to Wes Van Dell and Windland Photography for the amazing photos this year.
