Two of my best friends and pilots at UND, Madeline Lilley and Corey Komarec, planned a pretty fun trip this past weekend with me. While we love going to school and flying at the University of North Dakota, there isn’t a Chipotle in Grand Forks! And while we have some great Qdoba here in GFK, it doesn’t ever match up with the Chipotle found down South in Fargo.

So what were we to do? Well we planned out a catering order with Chipotle for 30 burritos, 15 bags of chips, and all sorts of salsa and guacamole to surprise our other Chipotle-loving friends in our dorm at UND. Check it out…

So we took off in our leased C172I, N46015, and flew the hour down South to Fargo. At the Fargo Jet Center, we picked up a crew car and drove over the Chipotle to grab the food before heading back to Grand Forks… And the best part? The burritos were still warm and fresh in their box when we got back to the dorm!

Talk about a fun Sunday trip and surprise for our friends!

    Good luck in your careers!
